Welcome to the KDP Bulletin.
ArtRoots
ArtRoots is a community fund for artistic and aesthetic improvements to traffic-free paths along the National Cycle Network in Scotland. Not only do art and aesthetic improvements provide a message that the path and its users are important, but they can also make a journey more enjoyable and increase user confidence in the route they are on.
It is hoped to encourage more people to travel by bike or foot, and by making cycle routes more attractive and enjoyable more people could be encouraged to choose healthier, cleaner and cheaper methods of travel.
This fund is for constituted community groups based in Scotland. The standard grant will be £2500.

Supporting Communities Safely
The Supporting Communities Safely resource, developed by Public Health Scotland and SCDC, has been updated to support communities to start back safely.
With the immediate impact of the pandemic decreasing, groups will be able to come together again soon. This is fantastic news for communities and the services that support them.
But as we move closer to re-opening, we are morally, practically, and legally obliged to take all possible precautions to avoid further infections.
The resource offers practical advice on how to effectively plan and deliver the measures like physical distancing and proper ventilation, both fundamental to achieve COVID safe services.
