The NESS Energy Project is a joint project funded by Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeenshire Council and the Moray Council to build an Energy from Waste plant to deal with all of the household residual waste in these areas.
As part of the contract the company building the facility are required to deliver some community benefits, and as part of this commitment, they have just opened up a formal process for community groups in all 3 local authority areas to apply for funding for community projects.
