“Please find attached a rolling programme of surface dressing works at a number of sites to be carried out from 13th May 2024 until 27th September 2024.
A road closure or convoy traffic control plus a 10 mph speed limit will be in place during surface dressing application. Emergency and pedestrian access will be maintained and vehicular access to affected properties will be maintained whenever possible but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction vehicles to allow them to proceed.
A 20 mph Speed Limit (with 40 mph transitional zone as applicable) will be in operation during preparatory works and post application aftercare and lining and studding works.
It is not possible to provide exact dates for each site, however the restrictions will only be in force when signs indicative of the closure / speed limits are displayed at the location.
