Help wanted : Maryculter Driving for the Disabled : Wednesday afternoons 12.30 – 4.00

Maryculter Driving for the Disabled  are looking for volunteers who can help out during driving sessions for people with disabilities from 12.30 – 4.00pm on a Wednesday.  It’s a very sociable activity and even if you could manage one hour during the times, it would be helpful.  You don’t need horse experience but you must love a blether!  Whether it be walking alongside the carriages whilst they are being driven or assisting with the loading and unloading, all help is gratefully received.

The Group operates from Maryculter Home Farm and there are two training dates for volunteers: 18th and 25th of April.  The sessions for disabled commence on the 2nd of May and continue weekly until the end of September.

We are also looking for “Tea and fine piece”  volunteers! These volunteers ate on a rota basis and are only required twice through-out the season.

Please contact George or Carol Masson on 01569 739283 or Kate Brockman on 07871 531079 for further information.

Thank you
