The Coop is a community orientated business which supports groups and communities at all levels across the UK.
The Coop has an annual fund which supports 3 Local Causes in the same postcode, or as close to, each of their stores. Last year, through the blue co-op membership card, over £15m was raised and distributed to local causes.
An online community noticeboard has been launched to allow groups to register and promote activities planned in the future, e.g., Fundraisers etc.
Any group hoping to receive funding for a project, a raffle donation or wish to apply for local cause funding must now be registered on the website, ensuring donations are recorded for follow up and fit with our community vision:
