Rod Farquhar (Planning Officer, NKRCC) and Cllr Ian Mollison attended the Chapelton Liason Committee meeting on the 25th March 2021.
205 houses are now occupied and of a further 80, either completed or under construction, 25 are sold. Unfortunately, the proposed extension of the retirement home is on hold. An area for children to play is being landscaped within the woodlands with hopes for swings etc, & discussions included an adult exercise area.
An AED was financed through the 10K Fun run (the run is on hold for 2021). Further activities, including exhibitions and farmers markers are planned for 2021 & planning permission for eight “pop up shops” has been lodged. The next meeting is on the 25th November.
