Social Isolation and Loneliness Fund
Impact Funding Partners are delighted to invite applications to the Social Isolation and Loneliness Fund 2021.
The total fund value available is £54,000 and organisations across Scotland can apply for up to £1,500 to enable them to tackle social isolation, loneliness, wellbeing and the impact of Covid-19 on communities.
Eligible activities must take place between 24th May and 27th August 2021. The activities funded must be in addition to what you are already delivering, enabling you to reach and support more individuals at risk over this period.
The closing date for applications is 30th April 2021.

Henry Smith Strengthening Communities Grant
The Henry Smith Strengthening Communities Grant can fund between £20,000 – £60,000. It is designed to support small charitable organisations working at grassroots level. Through this grant programme they want to make sure that the funding reaches the most disadvantaged areas of the UK, targeting places that are economically marginalised and affected by poverty.
You can apply to cover running costs which may include salaries, project costs, and small capital costs needed to support the work.

People’s Postcode Trust
The aim of People’s Postcode Trust is to support smaller charities and good causes in the Scotland to make a difference to their community for the benefit of people and planet.
You can apply for £500 to £20,000 in funds here.
Rounds open from 1st to the 15th of each month until October.
Flexible Workforce Development Fund
The Flexible Workforce Development Fund 2020-21 Phase 2 is now open. Small businesses across Scotland can now access training up to the value of £5,000 provided by the OU to help them respond to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
They can use the training to adapt to new ways of working and maximise the opportunities to restart, recover and renew.
Businesses are advised to make an application as soon as possible, as access to the fund will be on a first-come-first-served basis.

Airbnb Community Tourism Programme
The Airbnb Community Tourism Programme is available for projects that welcome tourism in new ways to strengthen communities, empower citizens, and preserve and promote local culture.
Applicants must be non-profit agencies, charities, public-backed initiatives, research organisations or academic institutions, start-up accelerators or community social groups.
They are now accepting letters of interest year-round.

SSEN’s Resilient Communities Fund
The 2021 round of SSEN’s Resilient Communities Fund is now, with £480,000 available for non-profit making organisations, community groups and charities working to protect and enhance the resilience of those most vulnerable in the north of Scotland and central southern England.
The deadline date for applications is Thursday 10 June.
The 2021 fund will support local projects that:
- Protect the welfare of vulnerable community members through enhancing their resilience and improving community participation and effectiveness.
- Enhance community facilities, services and communication – particularly to support local response to a significant emergency event.
The 2021 fund is particularly focused on projects helping vulnerable or isolated people living in SSEN’s network areas, with applications of up to £20,000 to be considered by an independent fund panel.

The Mary Salmond Trust
The Trust offers grants of up to £500 to groups or individuals from the North East of Scotland.
They aim to support the advancement of community development, by encouraging activities which have a public benefit. They are also keen to promote projects which focus on children and young people’s health and welfare, training and education, civic responsibility and volunteering.
Applications should be submitted by 14 June.

Clubs in Crisis Fund
The Clubs in Crisis Fund, administered by Foundation Scotland on behalf of Made By Sport, offers local sports clubs and organisations the opportunity to apply for a grant to help support young people as they start to recover from the effects of the latest lockdown.
The fund will award unrestricted grants of £2,021 to clubs who match the criteria.
The fund opens on the 12th of April 2021.

Digital Participation Charter Fund
The Digital Participation Charter Fund invests in community digital inclusion projects across Scotland.
It provides small grants to help a range of organisations tackle poverty, social isolation, and other forms of inequality in society through embedding digital skills development work in day-to-day activity with their service users.
The fund will close for applications at noon on 22nd April.
