Financial support from CAB. Citizens Advice advisers are to provide a new service aimed at giving Scots a ‘financial health check’ to see if they are eligible for additional support that they may not know about. The service is available by telephone (0800 085 7145) or face to face which involves a short confidential interview with a CAB adviser and is available free to anyone who asks for it, or any CAB client whose adviser feels might benefit from it.

Support for tourism businesses in the north-east. The Tourism Business Game Changer programme has been designed to help tourism businesses in North East Scotland realise their growth potential. The programme will support businesses with identifying target markets, defining consumer demands and refining their offering to provide the services and experiences that ensure visitors explore our region and stay for longer. It is aimed at executives, managers and owners in tourism SMEs and larger businesses who want to take control of their future growth. The programme is intense, challenging and fun and requires a commitment of your time for the whole programme.
Workshops will be delivered at the Aberdeen Altens Hotel. One-to-one- sessions will take place at either the Scottish Enterprise or Opportunity North East offices in Aberdeen. Please read the attached PDF Flyer which contains full details of the programme. Deadline for applications is Monday 21 January.
