The NKRCC meets on Monday 15th August 7.30pm at Lairhillock School.
Sergeant Neil Grant of the Kincardine and Mearns Community Policing Team will update us on the situation with travelling folk camping in the area particularly with regard to the law and private land owners.
The AWPR works are ongoing and the team will be presenting at our next meeting on Monday 19th September. Meantime we will advise on the local road repairs and works commencing September to rectify damage caused by the AWPR, this is a contract awarded by Aberdeenshire Council for the next 12 months.
The Blairs development particularly the 30MPH speed limit, bus shelters and traffic lights have all been discussed with Aberdeenshire Council roads officers and we will report on this.
The white lines on the South Deeside Road Maryculter Bridge junction will be painted at 06.00am Saturday 13th August weather dependent. This is long overdue and a result of the NKRCC chasing councillors and roads.
Under planning the call in by Scottish Ministers of flood defence works supported by councillors at the Wood Leisure caravan park beside the Old Mill Inn will be discussed.
