Deal struck to repair roads damaged by AWPR works

Words from Cllr Ian Mollison

It is good news that a contractor has finally been appointed by Aberdeenshire Council to repair back roads damaged by the construction of the Aberdeen by-pass. It has taken much longer than anticipated to set this up between the AWPR consortium and the council, but at least it has finally been agreed. The 12-month £300,000 contract should see these local roads being restored to their state before construction began.
